75 COUNTRIES AND 469 ATHLETES AT THE ISSF FINAL OLYMPIC QUALIFICATION RIFLE / PISTOL IN RIO

With 20 days left until the start of the ISSF Final Olympic Qualification Championship Rifle / Pistol, 469 athletes from 75 countries (total of 854 registrations) confirmed their participation in the last selection for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The competition, from April 11 to 20, at the Military Shooting Sports Center (Olympic Shooting Center), in Rio de Janeiro, will have representatives from five continents: America, Africa, Asia, Europe and Oceania.

The 75 registered countries :

74 COUNTRIES AND 454 ATHLETES AT THE ISSF FINAL OLYMPIC QUALIFICATION RIFLE / PISTOL IN RIO

Registration closed! With 30 days left until the start of the ISSF Final Olympic Qualification Championship Rifle / Pistol, 454 athletes from 74 countries confirmed their participation in the last selection for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The competition, from April 11 to 20, at the Centro Militar de Tiro Sports Center (Olympic Shooting Center), in Rio de Janeiro, will have representatives from five continents: America, Africa, Asia, Europe and Oceania. World champions and Olympic medalists are confirmed.

This is the second time that Brazil has hosted an Olympic qualifier. The first was at the World Cup in Rio de Janeiro, in 2019, which defined the last places for the 2020 Japan Olympics. Due to the pandemic, the competition was held the following year.

The 74 registered countries :

There are 40 days left until the ISSF Final Olympic Qualification Championship Rifle / Pistol 2024. The competition will be held from April 11th to 20th at the Centro Militar de Tiro Esportivo (CMTE), in Deodoro. As in the four previous editions of the Rio de Janeiro World Cup (2016, 2019, 2022 and 2023), the ISSF Final Olympic will bring together some of the best athletes on the planet, including Olympic medalists and world champions, in search of the last spots for the Games Paris 2024 Olympics. According to the Organizing Committee, so far 269 athletes have registered representing 48 countries from four continents.

Countdown! There are 50 days left until the ISSF Final Olympic Qualification Championship Rifle / Pistol 2024. The competition will be held from April 11th to 20th at the Centro Militar de Tiro Esportivo (CMTE), in Deodoro. 21 COUNTRIES ARE ALREADY REGISTERED IN THE ISSF FINAL OLYMPIC QUALIFICATION

Last Olympic tryout! With just over two months left until the start of the ISSF Final Olympic Qualification Championship Rifle / Pistol, from April 11th to 20th, at the Centro Militar de Tiro Esportivo (CMTE), in Rio de Janeiro, the Organizing Committee continues to take care of every detail to the success of the competition. To date, 121 athletes have registered representing 21 countries from four continents: America, Africa, Asia and Europe. Logistics will involve dozens of professionals in ten areas so that the championship is once again a success, as were the editions of the 2019, 2022 and 2023 World Cups.

“The numbers are very encouraging because registrations started just two weeks ago and are growing day by day. The process ends only on March 11th. As in previous editions, this championship will have an excellent technical level and the presence of some of the best athletes on the planet in search of an Olympic spot. The event schedule is on schedule and everything will be ready for Camp Training, starting April 1st”, explains Ericson Andreatta, general director of the event.

According to the director, the ISSF Final Olympic Qualification Championship Rifle / Pistol will have ten finals and the program is in the same format as that which will be played at the Paris Olympic Games.

The 21 countries registered are:

Belgium, Kazakhstan, China, Cuba, Denmark, El Salvador, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Israel, Nigeria, Norway, Poland, Serbia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Vietnam.
