For Emerson Duarte, from São Paulo, the silver medal means a positive sign to continue on the path, without being ecstatic, but always looking to improve.

“This medal is a resumption for us, as due to the pandemic we had few training sessions and competitions. It’s an extra motivation, even more at home, because it has more visibility for the public and shows that we have a good potential to develop. It is also an incentive for us to grow and fight on an equal footing with the world powers”, stated Emerson.
