BRAZIL WILL HAVE 17 ATHLETES IN THE OLYMPIC RIFLE AND PISTOL SELECTION IN RIO DE JANEIRO

Cassio Rippel, Dimas Ferreira, Eduardo Sampaio, Geovana Meyer, Leonardo Vagner and Victor Bayna (Carabina); Adalto da Silveira, Ana Luiza Ferrão, Cibele Breide, Emerson Duarte, Felipe Wu, Mariana Betoni, Marina Mendonça, Philipe Chateaubrian, Roberto Gomes, Tatiana Diniz and Vladimir da Silveira (Pistol). These are the 17 athletes from the Brazilian Rifle and Pistol Team – CBTE who will compete in the ISSF Final Olympic Qualification Championship – Rifle / Pistol. The last Olympic selection of the two disciplines will be held from Thursday (11th), 9am Brasília, at the Military Shooting Sports Center (Olympic Shooting Center), in Deodoro, North Zone of Rio de Janeiro.

The competition will be attended by 466 athletes from 75 countries representing the five continents: America, Africa, Asia, Europe and Oceania. The selection will define the last 16 places for Rifle and Pistol athletes for the Paris 2024 Games. Team Brasil’s YouTube channel will broadcast the finals live.

The ISSF Final Olympic Qualification Championship Rifle / Pistol is organized by CBTE in partnership with the Ministry of Sports and the supported of the Brazilian Olympic Committee (COB), the Brazilian Army, the ISSF and Taurus Armas.
